Kendall brings warmth, humor, and genuine curiosity to her work. She's drawn to the complexity of human experience and has a particular interest in helping people understand how self-criticism, anxiety, and relational patterns quietly shape their lives, often in ways they haven't fully connected yet.

She tailors every session to the person in front of her, integrating evidence-based approaches with a relational style that feels collaborative and real. Clients often describe sessions with Kendall as both insightful and surprisingly approachable.

Kendall Sapiro, LMSW

Associate Therapist

New York Therapist

Kendall discovered her passion for psychology early and has carried that genuine curiosity into every session. Together with clients, she creates a collaborative space to build insight, understand patterns, and make meaningful, lasting change.

In sessions with Kendall, you’ll find a blend of humor, warmth, and dedication designed to create an empowering space. Drawing on skills from evidence-based practices- including CBT, ACT, attachment theory, DBT, somatic work, and psychodynamic theory - her curious and compassionate approach makes each session both approachable and impactful.

Kendall’s diverse experience spans work with high-risk individuals during their most challenging moments and fieldwork with marginalized populations suffering from severe addiction. Building on these foundational skills at NYU and in private practice, she brings a deep understanding of the human experience to her work with each client.

Kendall believes the best therapy feels like a real conversation - one where you don't have to perform or have it all figured out to make progress.
