Jesse works with warmth, curiosity, and a genuine interest in what's underneath the surface — the patterns, the history, the things that are quietly shaping how someone moves through their life and relationships.

Before becoming a therapist, Jesse spent five years in learning and development in the media industry. That background isn't incidental to how she works. She has a firsthand understanding of what it feels like to operate in high-expectation environments — the pressure to perform, the difficulty slowing down, the way stress and self-doubt can accumulate beneath a functioning exterior.

Jesse Grove, MSW

ASSOCIATE Therapist

New York Therapist

Jesse's approach is psychodynamic and relational at its core. She's interested in what's underneath the presenting problem: the early experiences and relational patterns that shape how you see yourself, how you connect with others, and what you've come to expect from the world. Rather than focusing on symptom management alone, she works collaboratively with clients to develop deeper insight and a more honest relationship with themselves.

Jesse’s style is relaxed, grounded, and compassionate. She thinks that therapy truly works when it is a collaborative process, and cares deeply about forming supportive, trusting relationships with each client. She also draws from EFT, CBT, and narrative therapy, tailoring her approach to each client and what they're working toward. All of her work is grounded in a trauma-informed lens, developed through training in both school-based and clinical settings.

Jesse believes that being invited into someone's inner world is a privilege and she holds that with care. She's interested in building a therapeutic relationship that feels steady, honest, and genuinely useful.

Jesse believes that healing happens in connection with others, and sees therapy as a space to slow down and reconnect to your inner voice.
